About the event
Winona Lake Police Department is hosting ALERRT Level 1 training at Grace College on July 19,20, 2018. This 2 day course will train 24-30 Officers. This dynamic course of instruction is designed to prepare the first responder to isolate, distract, neutralize and active shooter. The course will culminate with dynamic force-on- force scenarios.
Required equipment:
Good attitude, open mind, pen and paper, duty gear, body armor, groin protection, and appropriate clothing for force-on-force training. Head, eye, throat protection will be provided by ALEERT.
