Emphasis is placed on threat assessment, officer safety, movement techniques, room entry, hallway navigation, and team communication using patrol-level equipment and staffing. The course integrates some classroom instruction with hands-on scenarios to reinforce sound tactics, decision-making, and risk management appropriate for patrol operations.
