About the event
This 5-day (40 hours) instructor certification program in Police Control and Arrest Tactics is on in the series of programs offered by KPCT-Khan Do Kwan Police Control Tactics for Law Enforcement Officers. THis Level 1 course trains and certifies instructors in Police Control and Arrest Tactics using legal information along with priactical tactics. It is designed to effectively engage, disengage, to handle passive aggressive or combative subjects on the street or in correctional facility settings.
This course is designed to enhance the instructor's development and skills in:
-Single and multiple officer control techniques
-Cover contact
-Tactical Handcuffing
-Limb and hinge control methods
-Striking for control and for self defense
-Takedowns into handcuffing
-Escapes and defenses on the ground
-Knife hold ups and basic edged weapons defense
-Counters to basic street attacks
