Gun Fighting Around Vehicles OVERVIEW Class

General Course Description: Students will receive a basic exposure to gun fighting around vehicles focused on positional shooting into, out of, over, under and around vehicles. Students will be shown cover and concealment techniques utilizing various vehicles in walk throughs and Simunition® environments. Drills will incorporate critical weapon safety skills while engaging threats involving vehicles with a heavy emphasis on positional safety and bullet path diagnostics. Students will be exposed to various teaching points to include ballistic deflection, deformation, penetration and terminal effect when bullets come in contact with various vehicle components.

Classroom Portion: Will include video diagnostics and tactics evaluations to explore how law enforcement can use vehicles to their advantage in winning a gunfight.
